We Will Have to Fight!
We live in the wealthiest country in the world… but what benefit do we get out of it?
Our labor created this wealth, unimaginable wealth, wealth never before seen… and yet, nothing is going right, not for us.
It's a disaster… but who is going to fix it?
Not the big companies — their constant push for profit caused the problem.
Not the big banks — their speculation pushed the whole society to the brink of collapse, and they will do it again.
Not the Democrats and Republicans — their policies are based on taking from working people and the poor to give to the rich.
WE have to fix it. WE need to push back, together, millions of us, all of us who are exploited by this greedy capitalist class.
It's true, no one is fighting now. But this capitalist class, grabbing every drop of profit, will keep pushing us until we fight.
Our problem, then, will be to make the bosses pay for their own crisis, to win what we need to protect our lives, the lives of all ordinary people.
Too many times before, workers got a few crumbs when they fought, but they left the bosses in control. Their struggles led into a dead end.
We must prepare now, we must really think about it, so when we fight, we know what we need to fight for.
We will need our own program, our own policy – a working class policy.
